Update on Doing Business in Germany
You’re invited to join Kegler Brown and our friends from the German law firm Friedrich Graf von Westphalen on September 11, 2017 for a discussion on doing business in Germany with an update on current events in Europe and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), expected in the spring of 2018.
Join us for a happy
hour and meet Gerhard Manz
and Sven Ufe Tjarks
of Friedrich Graf von Westphalen. Then, stay as they present on recent issues
concerning doing business in Europe, including importing to/exporting from
Germany and recent developments in neighboring countries, such as France’s new
president and Brexit. They will also review the upcoming federal elections in
Germany, to be held less than two weeks after this event, and will discuss the
parties’ programs and significant legislation that will decide the future of current
chancellor Angela Merkel and Germany’s role within the EU and worldwide.
Kegler Brown’s Privacy + Data Security practice chairs, David Wilson
and Victoria Beckman,
will also join the presenters to discuss international perspectives on data
security and enforcement of the GDPR in the U.S.

Please RSVP by Monday, September 4, by contacting Korri Titus at [email protected] or (614) 255-5515.
