On Wednesday May 6th at 7:30 a.m., Kegler Brown Hill & Ritter will be conducting a FREE morning seminar to discuss ODOT's Design-Build Process and Ohio's stimulus projects. At this hour-long seminar, the following topics unique to ODOT's Design-Build Process and Ohio's stimulus projects will be discussed:

  1. The new legal requirements for selecting the Design-Build Team and how they currently differ from the ODOT's traditional bidding process.
  2. The responsibilities for the Design-Build Team and ODOT.
  3. The importance of pre-qualifying both contractors and design consultants.
  4. Joint Venture requirements.
  5. Insurance requirements, including professional liability.
  6. How risk is apportioned for differing site conditions.
