Panelists

As chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property area, Robert G. Schuler advises clients in safeguarding their intellectual property, including securing trademark and copyright registrations, implementing procedures to protect trade secrets, and assisting clients in the negotiation and drafting of intellectual property licenses. He has experience representing clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in opposition, cancellation and concurrent use proceedings. Rob also assists clients in registering trademarks domestically and internationally through the Madrid Protocol.

Steve Barsotti has extensive experience in identifying and protecting clients’ intellectual property assets, safeguarding clients’ intellectual property through domestic and international trademarks, copyrights, negotiation of confidentiality agreements and NDAs, and commercializing IP rights through negotiation of services agreements, licenses and joint venture agreements.

Jeff Nein focuses his intellectual property practice on identifying and protecting clients’ intellectual property interests through market planning and due diligence, use of trademarks, copyrights, and software agreements, implementation of trade secret protection procedures, and license drafting and negotiation.

Lorraine Hernández's extensive knowledge in counseling clients in all aspects of IP law includes experience in patent and trademark infringement analysis, copyright and licensing matters, patent portfolio development, intellectual property risk management, and trademark procurement.

Advising clients with multiple intellectual property law needs, Brian V. Finch supports innovative clients looking to maximize their IP portfolios through preparation and prosecution of patents in varying fields.
