The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) has recently been updated! The recently published final rule becomes effective on January 16, 2009, and the new regulations contain many substantive changes that will require employers to change both their policies covering FMLA leave and the way they administer the leave.
In our Breakfast Briefing, we will summarize the changes to the FMLA and provide information and analysis of the new regulations. Attendees will also receive all of the new Department of Labor forms, as well as a prototypical FMLA policy that will fully comply with the new regulations. This policy can be immediately used to administer leave at your company.
