New FLSA "White Collar" Regulations

The U.S. Department of Labor recently issued new regulations for determining whether employees fit the "white collar" exemptions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Kegler Brown has closely followed the proposed changes through the rule making process. In the coming weeks, we will present a series of breakfast seminars to brief employers on the new regulations. Please join us to learn more about the exemptions and how to comply with the new rules, which become effective August 23, 2004.

FLSA suits are now more prevalent than discrimination suits, and the Department of Labor has been setting collection records over the last few years by going after unwary employers.

The FLSA "white collar" breakfast briefings will be held from 8:00-9:30 AM on the following dates:
