Speakers
United States District Judge David C. Norton of Charleston, South Carolina: Federal District Judge since 1990. Delegate and member of various court commissions, including the Judicial Conference (with the chief justice) of the United States. Practiced law in Charleston, South Carolina for fifteen years before being named to the bench by President Bush.
Geoffrey Stern: Disciplinary Counsel of the Supreme Court of Ohio from 1993 to 1997. Chair, Ohio State Bar Association Committee on legal ethics and professional conduct in 1992 and 1993. Head of the professional responsibility practice area at Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter.
Christopher J. Weber: Member of the litigation, professional responsibility and construction area practices at Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter. Has tried several disciplinary cases to successful conclusions. Lead articles editor of the Toledo Law Review.
Stacy Solocheck Beckman has served in the Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC), since 1993 as a law clerk and Assistant Disciplinary Counsel. Has tried numerous cases before the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline and represented ODC before the Ohio Supreme Court. Two years law firm experience.
Kevin Williams: Assistant Disciplinary Counsel since 1997. Served as law clerk/assistant to the Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court for two years prior. He also clerked for U.S. bankruptcy Judge Sandra Beckwith and has appeared on several occasions before the Ohio Supreme Court and its Board of Commissioners
