Director Selected to Serve as Litigation Practice Area Leader

Rob Cohen, a director and member of the firm’s trial practice group, has been selected to chair the litigation practice area at Kegler Brown.

Cohen has a wealth of experience representing corporate clients in proceedings of all kinds, including bench and jury trials, private judge trials, summary jury trials, administrative proceedings, injunction proceedings, grand jury proceedings and governmental investigations. His practice focus includes complex litigation and antitrust litigation. Cohen has been consistently recognized as a leading litigator by SuperLawyers and Best Lawyers in America, and was selected as the 2012 “Lawyer of the Year” in Columbus in the area of Antitrust Litigation by The Best Lawyers in America.

“Rob has always been a great litigator, but it’s his desire to lead trial teams and provide counsel and guidance to our lawyers internally that sets him apart,” said Michael E. Zatezalo, the firm’s managing director. “This is a natural fit for Rob.”

Cohen has been an attorney with Kegler Brown for more than 20 years, following a clerkship with United States District Court Judge William K. Thomas in Cleveland. He graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1988. He is actively involved in the Columbus Bar Association and the Antitrust Section of the Ohio State Bar Association.
