All associates are paired with two mentors who assist the associate with training and development. In addition to being mentored by members of the firm, new associates will also gain valuable experience through direct client interaction.
The associates meet on a monthly basis to discuss pertinent legal and administrative issues. They are encouraged to speak about challenges and successes they face in their practices. The monthly meetings provide an opportunity to hone skills through training and in-house workshops.
Associates are expected to bill at least 1850 hours annually to client matters. In addition to their legal work, associates are encouraged to dedicate their time to community service, continuing legal education and business development. Associates are eligible for consideration to be elected a firm director after 8 years following admission to the bar.
