At Kegler Brown, we are committed to developing the professional and community aspects of our lives. We encourage our attorneys and professional staff to excel in activities they are passionate about, and we provide the means and opportunity to allow them to do so. Whether through civic and charitable participation or continuing legal or professional education, we are proud of the positive contributions our firm is making to enhance the lives of those who live and work in Columbus.
To truly make a powerful impact in the lives of our friends, clients and families, Kegler Brown employees are directly involved in service to the community. Whether it be through board membership, help with fundraising drives or use of firm resources/facilities, we encourage and empower our employees to become actively involved in the Central Ohio community and provide the means for them to do so. We foster a corporate culture of community involvement and caring throughout our firm by partnering with not-for-profits engaged in educational activities, arts organizations and those delivering essential services to meet basic human needs.
Our contribution of time, talent and treasure reflects our corporate caring and ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of life in our community. Historically, Kegler Brown has shown long-term support for a number of causes and issues. For example, for the past 15 years, the firm has had one of the highest percapita employee giving rates among all Central Ohio companies for the United Way (UW) Campaign. Our employees recognize the value of United Way's services and have been enthusiastic financial and volunteer supporters of United Way. In addition, other community organizations we have supported for many years include Goodwill Columbus, Netcare Corporation, Southside Settlement House, the Heinzerling Foundation and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
